ABSTRACT

In conclusion, two feasible strategies have recently been proposed to develop an innovative solar-powered all-day wearable thermoregulatory system for efficient personalized thermoregulation. The first strategy involves large-area preparation of wearable thermoregulatory fabrics with embedded thermoelectric modules, and the second focuses on driving EC devices by the OPV module for full day/night bidirectional thermal management. Both systems show promise for advanced thermoregulation applications and enhances human survival in extreme environments such as polar regions and individual space walking. However, further optimization is required in terms of system performance and practicality, including thermal conductivity and integrability of materials.
