We have synthesized pillar[5]arene-based chiral ligands ( L 1 / L 2 ) to coordinate with 3d/4f metal ions Zn 2+ , Eu 3+ and Tb 3+ , leading to CPL-active metal complexes ( Zn-L 1 , Eu-L 1 , Eu-L 2 , Tb-L 2 ) with enhanced luminescence dissymmetry factor g lum and CPL brightness B CPL .
