ABSTRACT

In conclusion, this study presents a feasible strategy for addressing the internal trade-off of molecular sieving adsorbent between the diffusion limitation and adsorption capacity. By designing HAF-1 with contracted throats and suspended molecular pockets, exclusive adsorption capacity of C3H6 with a strong host-guest interactions and high kinetics of HAF-1 were achieved simultaneously. This hybrid azolate framework breaks the limitations of traditional molecular sieving adsorbents and provides a new separation mode to break the trade-off barrier, which is expected to be applied in industrial separation.
